Mission & Vision

Mission and Vision

The Mission of KYJO is to partner with schools, therapist, psychiatrist, and caring supportive staff to ensure that our residents, youths ages 12-17 receive the required programs and tools necessary that will address their individual needs, strengthen their abilities to transition towards family’s unification, emancipation or a lower level of care, encourage personal responsibility and independence living.  At KYJO we believe that by setting goals, tracking outcomes and improving our resident’s quality of life will establish socially acceptable behaviors that will enable them to live independent productive lives in the future.

The Vision of KYJO is to provide a caring home environment; supportive counseling by trained staff that teaches values, addresses behavior and attitudes for youth ages 12-17.  Our program is based on a proven step-by-step process that allows for transitioning towards less restrictive, more socially acceptable behavior and eventually independent living.
