Meet Santa
Get your Christmas lists in and let your kids tell Santa what they want for Christmas!
Christmas in the Village in Omaha will feature Santa on Dec. 3 from 12 to 5 p.m.
The KETV family festival in Omaha will also have Santa on Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
From now until Dec. 4, Santa’s Wonderland will be at Cabela’s in LaVista.
Santa will be at Regency in Omaha from now until Dec. 24.
Gift shopping
If you’re looking for gifts for family and friends, these local spots will get you in the mood to shop for the holidays!
Visit the Holiday Boutique & Craft Fair on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bennington Middle School. This fair raises money for their dance team.
Not Yo Mama’s Holiday Lollapalooza Craft-O-Rama Extravaganza at the Westside Community Center in Omaha will feature local crafters and artists on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Physicians Mutual Holiday Market will be in Aksarben Village in Omaha from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 4. You can shop local vendors and enjoy brews and food from Benson Brewery.
The Holiday Arts & Crafts Show at the Mid America Center goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 4. Over 200 vendors will be at this show.
On Dec. 4 from 12 to 4 p.m at the Crescent Moon Ale House, the Outdoor Holiday Market will feature vendors, as well as holiday music, holiday beers for the parents, peppermint hot chocolate for the kids and food like candied nuts, Bratwursts and other street foods.
Check out the City Sprouts Holiday Market on Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with homemade goods, hot drinks and ornament making. Visit the Omaha Flea Holiday Makers Market on Dec. 10 at Café Postale in Omaha from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a DIY wreath-making bar and polaroids with Santa.
Winter Wonderland will be on Dec. 10 and 11 at Oak View Mall from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 100 small businesses will have booths.
The Holiday Popup Series at Mulhalls in Omaha is every Saturday until Dec. 17, where different vendors will pop up their shops from time to time.
Displays and lights
The Holiday Poinsettia Show at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha is an indoor flower display, and your kids will love the indoor model train. Bright Nights are also there from December 2-4, 9-23 and 26-30.
Santa’s Rock N Lights goes until Jan. 1. Drive through a mile of Christmas lights!
Take a look at the Christmas lights in Old Market in downtown Omaha until Jan. 2.
Winter Wonderland begins at Fontenelle Forest on Dec. 10 and goes until Jan.. Walk through decorated trees.
Season of Lights in Midtown Crossing goes until Feb. 14. See thousands of lights on the trees in Turner Park.
